About Us

A Straightforward Screening Company Built the Right Way

Superior Rescreening was established to provide professional screening services with clear expectations, proper materials, and honest communication. The company operates with a focus on doing the work correctly, respecting customer property, and explaining the scope of work before it begins.

We believe professionalism isn’t about presentation — it’s about structure, accountability, and how work is handled when no one is watching.

Who We Are

Superior Rescreening

Superior Rescreening is a Florida-based screening company providing residential and light commercial services, including re-screening, repairs, and enclosure makeovers.

Company details:

  • Incorporated business entity
  • Fully insured
  • Operates within the scope of services that do not require a contractor’s license under Florida law
  • Structured from the beginning to operate as a legitimate business, not a side operation
  • Over two decades of hands-on screening experience in the local area

Our work focuses on screened enclosures, panels, doors, and related components. Structural aluminum repairs requiring permits are not performed.

Superior Re-Screening founder and Owner Matt while working

Matt — Founder

Matt began working in the screening industry several years before starting Superior Rescreening. He spent approximately three years learning the trade hands-on while working for another company before forming his own business.

Rather than operating informally, Superior Rescreening was incorporated from the beginning. Starting a properly structured company at a young age reflects a deliberate approach to doing things the right way — legally, operationally, and professionally.

Matt remains directly involved in the work and day-to-day operations, ensuring quality standards and consistency across projects.

Licensing & Insurance Transparency

Screening services of this type do not require a contractor’s license in Florida when limited to non-structural work such as screen replacement, repairs, upgrades, and painting of existing enclosures.

To protect customers and the business:

  • The company is insured
  • Work is limited to permitted scopes
  • Customers are referred to licensed contractors when structural or permit-required work is needed

We believe clarity on this topic prevents confusion and protects everyone involved.

How We Operate

Our approach is consistent across every project:

  • Evaluate the condition of the enclosure
  • Explain available options clearly
  • Use materials suited for Florida conditions
  • Set realistic expectations for scheduling and scope

We don’t recommend unnecessary work, and we don’t promise outcomes we can’t deliver.

Community & Accountability

Superior Rescreening operates locally and relies on reputation rather than volume. When customers contact us, they are dealing with people directly involved in the work — not a sales office or third-party scheduler.

That accountability matters.
